Before SYBAss was founded, the superyacht industry was all too often squeezed between the maritime leisure and professional marine industries. Each of these sectors faces specific challenges that do not always apply to superyachts. SYBAss was established to specifically represent large yacht builders.

There are many players involved in the superyacht sector, from designers to suppliers, architects to brokers, regulators to owner’s representatives. Ultimately, however, there can only be one yacht builder for each project.

Naval architects can create great designs. Suppliers can manufacture incredibly efficient equipment. Owners can have a wealth of creative ideas. But at the end of the day nothing happens without a builder…
